I've often heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe its time you start beholding your own beauty. "I am more than what you see" is in the heart above, but do we understand that are we are more than what we see?
There was a woman named Ruth who was the daughter in law to a woman named Naomi. Naomi renamed herself Mara which means bitter in Hebrew. She saw herself based on where she was in life. But, God had another plan. He knew her ending even while she was standing in the middle of her story. He named her victorious even when she named herself bitter. God knows. He wrote the story. So, when you are feeling down and low, go to the Master Storyteller. After all, He wrote the whole story.
I'm a avid book reader and there are some books where I can predict the end. Then there are a few that shock me and have me glued to the pages (better yet the scene as I've gone digital). I can't wait to find out what comes next. I've learned to live my life like that. Enjoying the moment I'm in with anticipation for what comes next. Good or bad, it is part of my story and if God decided it needs to be part of my journey, then there is something good in it for me even when it feels like hell is reigning in my life.
