Today’s devotional comes from Matt 16:19: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.” (NIV)
Today we ask God to bind what isn’t of Him and loose that which is. Bind fear and loose freedom. Bind hate, loose love. Bind turbulence, loose peace. Lord God, today we simply come to thee asking for your manifestation to have its way.
We forget that life and death is in the power of the tongue. When we say we are broke, that’s what we are loosening in this earth. When we say we are not this or that, that’s what we loose on this earth. If we can get into the practice of speaking not what we see but what God sees. He isn’t calling us less, He sees our more. It’s our job to embrace and proclaim.
Now before you go proclaiming anything, make sure you are in alignment with God’s plan. You may be out here trying to claim something God is trying to take away from you. Ask Him first then proclaim it with your tongue.
Bind that which is not of God and loose that which is. Challenge: take a few minutes and speak all that you are. If you are sick, speak your healing. If are looking for a job, speak your employment - name the position and finances.
