Have you ever.......? There is a song that begins with these words. There is a lot that we could add to the back of that question. Here is the question for today. Have you ever stopped believing? If so, what did you do to remind yourself of the God you serve?
Let me very transparent here. My answer to this question is yes, I have. What did I do? I initially pulled myself away from the church and my inner circle. I drew into myself to find the answers that I needed. BIG mistake. By internalizing, I was only listening to my voice. And, what can a tainted voice give you but a tainted perspective. So I dived back into the Word. I had to reconnect that which I had unconnected.
In that I found freedom. I became free to be myself - flawed and all. I encourage you to re-connect or sure up your connection with the true and real power source. Give unto Him that which He is due. Give Him you.
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2 NIV)
