31 Day Inspiration - Day 21: Real Prosperity

"2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2:2 KJV)

There are so many prosperity preachers/prophets out here. They want to prophesy a new house, a new car, a new job. They want to give you the good feeling on the inside. But, let me tell you this, not all prophesy is meant to give you material things.

The above scripture gives us a prayer. As simple as it is is as powerful as it is. I hear the heavens say that every job I lost was a new level of prosperity. Get it? We think of it as losing something yet, it's really another level. Why? Because the level you were on had run its course. So move on and stop mourning that which you had outgrown.

As the Word calls you Beloved, know that you are loved and appreciated for being yourself. You don't have to walk, talk, be anyone but whom you are. Thus, don't accept some ole man-made, man-thought, man-spoken prophesy that has none of God's power or weight behind it. True prophesy when it comes will hit something so deep down in you that your soul will recognize it. If you don't know if it's true or not, weigh what was said against the Word of God. Put it to the Gideon test (see Judges 6).

I pray for you today, what has already been prayed - that you prosper (grow in the knowledge of who you are) as your soul prospers (grows in the knowledge of who God is to you).

Be A Blessing and Not Just Blessed

- Nakya
