I was sitting about 5:30 am this morning speaking to God and as he does, the devil tried to interrupt my thoughts with his negativity. As he began to try and whisper into my ear, I began to speak the Word back to him - 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you". What happened? The devil ceased. Here's what I know: I have no control of the situation, but God does. So, I have no worry of what is to happen. God will not allow a situation to come up that He can't handle. He has all power and authority.
Once I got to work at 7 am this morning, I got busy. 2 hours later, I opened my email and my blessing was staring me in the face. The same scripture I spoke over my situation, was my Word for the day. YES GOD!!!! I hear you. I know that you hear me. CONFIRMATION!!!
SPEAK the Word of God over every situation. When the devil comes in to kill, steal, and destroy, speak the Word. When anxiety comes in to halt you, Speak the Word. When kids act up, spouses argue, Speak the Word.
Speak the Word! Speak the Word!! Speak the Word!!!
The authority given unto us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ begins with the Word. The Bible isn't just any book to read or not read. It is as my previous First Lady described Basic Instructions for Biblical Living Everyday.
