Spread the Gospel

Isaiah 1:18 King James Version (KJV) “18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord…”

I was recently speaking to my co-worker whom is from India. During our talk, we spoke on marriage, culture, religion, kids, families, etc. I really enjoyed this talk as I do with anyone of another culture/ideology/belief whom is open to learning from me as I learn from him.

This conversation recalled one of my favorite scriptures – Isaiah 1:18. I love the thought of people coming together, noting their differences but knowing how to use that as a positive. One of my favorite things to do is watch TV shows and/or movies from different cultures. As I have never traveled outside of the United States, speaking to my co-workers from different places, opens my mind to the beautiful differences between us.

How wonderful the world would be if we learned to reason with one another through love and understanding? How wonderful life would be if we stopped thinking that our way of life is the only way of life? Does this mean that I’m changing my belief over and no longer believing that God is God? Absolutely not. It does however give me the chance to speak my truth of whom God is to one that does not believe in the same God. Hello!!!!

Speaking with someone whom doesn’t believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, died for my sins, in 3 days rose from the grave and is my salvation is something I must do as a Christian. So, why then do we avoid conversations with people that aren’t like-minded? I am tasked with spreading the gospel to all corners of the world and if those corners come to me instead of me going to them, then……

Spread the gospel to all that will hear. Take the time and be the light, the salt, the Christian that you are designed to be.

Be A Blessing and not Just Blessed
