I was driving into work today and heard this advertisement on the radio for an upcoming show. The advertisement discussed a young lady’s desire to keep her secrets from going public. I laughed at the advertisement but then thought about it. How many times do we worry about others finding out about our secrets?
Mark 5:19 “But Jesus said, "No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” (NLT)
We are to share our testimony with others, so they know that they are not alone. Keeping a secret only leaves a foot hole in the door for the devil to walk in. Don’t you know he wants to hold things over your head? Don’t give the devil ammunition to hurt you with. Instead of covering it up, expose it, deal with the consequences, and be restored by the Living God.
